Yes we all split up, and now i'm safe and sound in australia. So you can stop all your worrying (a little bit). We're staying with friends in Newcastle- so nice to have homecooked meals!
I went back to Mana Island for the past week- no phone signal or internet so I apologise for no communication. But that's what it's all about, right?! I did my PADI open water diving course, diving instructor here I come! I saw a reef shark, squid, snapper fish, nemos, trigger fish and other cool fishies.
It was a pretty chilled out week, all I did was sleep, eat, dive and play with the puppies (I'm sending some home to you mama). Oh, and I got eaten alive. Again. That Deet jungle formular is shocking- I'm pretty sure when I wear it, I get more bites than when I don't. My foot's all infected and gross, but hopefully now that I'm away from the eveil Fijian water it should start to heal up. Brenda- definitely recommend Fiji- you will love it! You can do a dive where they feed loads of sharks (bull sharks too eek), I really wanted to do it but I was no where near that part of the island so you'll have to do it for me!
It was pretty weird leaving Fiji. I got asked by someone for my autograph as he thought I was from Home and Away, idiota. When I got to Oz it was a massive culture shock. We went straight to Bondi and there was literally THOUSANDS of people. Coming from an island with about 10 people on the beach was a bit freaky BUT there was a south american festival on so I slotted in nicely with my fellow latinas.
I haven't seen any 'roo's' yet, but my eyes are peeled. On the car journey up to newcastle I was working on my Ozzie accent to slot in with the locals, but I've got a long way to go- put another shrmp on the barbie and all that!
Still trying to upload my photos but every computer I go on doesnt seem to work GRRR!
