This fabulous journey took 4 months and covered 20,000 kms over 12 countries in eastern Africa. At the end of the trip, if we could have, we would have gladly turned around and done it all over again. We saw so much but there was so much we missed!
Now we are finally making a trip back, this time for two months and covering three countries across southern Africa - Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
We will be in a Hilux four-wheel-drive ute this time with all camping gear on board and in a group of five cars plus the leaders. The itinerary has been organised to see not only some of the big sights but also to get into the countryside, off the main roads and to lesser-visited places.
