So after lots of hours on planes (although I forget how much more comfortable long haul planes are!) and a brief visit to New York airport I got to the Miami hostel last night. I was really surprised to find this place online, and it looked far too good to be true - cheap, homely and lively but it really is! I'm in an 8 person dorm - mixed sex which is a bit random, and I scored the lower bunk (win) where the light doesn't work (less win). Outside there is a poo...

And so it begins, breakfast at Heathrow terminal 4 before getting on that scary plane thing! 8 1/2 hours to New York, 3 hour lay over and then 3 hours to Miami! Good job I've got a good book!
