Our plane left Venice at 7:30am...touched down in Milan at 8:30am. We left Milan for Chicago at 10:30am....10 hours later we were back in the good ole U.S.A. After wearily making it through customs, and checking back in to my 3:45pm flight back home to Atlanta, I was now ready to get home.

I love traveling...and will do it again and again. The security stuff doesn't bother me. But after traveling for almost 14 hours, when you want your bed....you want your bed.

Finally at 7:30pm (mind you I left Venice at 1:30am EST), I'm back home in Atlanta..I've got my bags...Brent comes to baggage claim to scoop me up. And my bed is oooh so nearby.

I had a great time in Italy. This trip was definitely what I call an Italian sampler. Just enough time to wet the appetite and make you want to come back for more. I will definitely be back. Now it's time to start planning the next destination....any suggestions???
