So.

the verdict is in. I leave for Kenya in 3 days. I have never been more excited in my life. Although the road to get here has been rocky...I know that this is what I need to be doing for the next few months. So here is the tenative calendar for the next few months of my life:

January 27- May 3 : I will be in Kenya. First 6 weeks will for sure be in Nairobi then the next 6 weeks are still unknown.

May4-end of May: I will hopefully be traveling with the lovely Mollie Thompson and new friends from the program. Who knows where the wind will blow us...we are thinking about seeing the mountain gorillas in Rwanda and maybe doing some safaris in Tanzania...who knows we shall see

End of May-beginning of June: I'm coming home to recover for a while. Gotta get those check ups and get back in shape. From past experience I'm sure my body will be full of bacteria and I will have some sort of rash in need of fixing.

June 12-June 25: The whole family is travelling back to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, and hopefully go on another safari in the Massai Mara. I'm sure by this point I will be missing East Africa and be verrrry happy to be back! Being able to say you have climbed the 6th tallest mountain in the world isn't half bad either! haha

This will probably be the last blog from the states...soooo yeah. Kenya here I come!!!
