My last dream was a deadly combination of a natural disaster + a shooting stake out + being taken hostage + babysitting + fevered pursuit + stabbing + rejection + dance academy + a bloody suicide + ballet exam + donna + anger + mrs heydon
And then when I awoke, these themes resounded in my head - the image settling, with the undertones of Black Swan, of a girl, dead by her own hand, lying in the middle of a Sydney dance studio. And then, still more echoing, back and forth, back and forth, of conversations with Catharine. Trying to escape back into silent sleep proves futile.

If dreaming is the brain processing,
Then how do you help it along? I want the nights and the twilight hours to be like the days; full and at peace.
