I wasn't expecting this-we've come down to Padstow with ma and Pa and mat and Sarah probably going over on the boat to Rock- poss walking over to John Betjeman's grave for a bit of culture. We've had our picnics- like get out of the car, first bench and eat. Only lost Dave once. Theyre waiting on the wall so I expect we're on our way. Wednesday. Another nice day weather wise although quite blustery. Had a good day on the beach at Treyarnon yesterday. Dad overdosed on the UV as usual but not too badly. Gary & Heather gone back home briefly to say bye to Kristy. Going for a walk in a little while around Padstow. Oh, by the way, your ice cream was really nice. There's a strange guy looking at us through the window. His name is Dave apparently! We'll post you another message tomorrow. We are going to try the library instead of the Tourist Info office. HI Sweetheart! We're on our hols now, in Cornwall. The weather is great and we're starting to relax. We're presently sitting in the tourist info office in Padstow using their internet access. £2 for 30 min! What a rip off! Someone is eating a pastie right outside the window so We are going to get one in a little while. Dad can resist no longer. Glad to hear that your still enjoing activities at the hospital. At the rate you're learning new things you'll be invited to take over the lecturing when you get back to university. Have you been to Philip Island yet? Everyone sends their love. Just got back from teaching Nan to use a computer. She is going to show Auntie as well!! Wot fun! They are going to practise solitaire for mouse control first. Just wait till you get back - they will be able to beat you (???)

Nan has given me £40 for you. Dad will include that amount when he puts your money in.

Hope you are asleep now - and the little monsters er children don't wake you up - perhaps you could run up and down at 6 am? I think someone may give you a disgusted stare, though!

I have just come back from the library with 11 books, so it can rain all fornight if it likes, ill have something to do. (hope it doesn't)

I havent started packing yet but i hope we wont be taking too much with us ho hum. packing is pants! Just looked up the weather for Cornwall and its going to rain on fri - hopr it misses the minnack theatre cus we booked Heath and Gill there on that afternoon. 3 hours in the rain wont be pleasant. Should have lent them our yellow disney raincoats - yes, I still ahve them in the cupboard. They cost $6 each so I am determined someone is going to wear them in spite of the colour.

Hi Andy - I was so impressed with you yesterday - fasting is hard! Well done! The chocolate was abig disappointment though - Mike had kept it through the heatwave and it had gone so bad I had to throw it away. I shall pinch it much more promptly next year.

The Korma sounds lovely, but we shall be in Cornwall next week although Mike will still be here. Does it freeze?? (Robert says he prefers Italian!) hee hee see you soon.

Hi, how are you? I survived. WOW. I didn't fade away or anything! But the temptation was there. I so wanted a bacon sandwich this morning. Just been out with Richard for some food. We were both starving. Went to Nando's. It was good, just me and Rich went, with little Oliver as well, so we had a good chat. I really enjoyed myself. Just relaxed and chatted with some good food. Well at that point I don't think good food came into it. I'd of ate a scabby horse and thought it was good!!!

I have taken two easter eggs from Mikes room as payment for cleaning it. I dont think he has noticed yet. You two are getting as bad as your Dad for leaving chocolate. I shall have to run some classes in easter egg eating.

Hi, how are you down their? Hope things are well. I'm okay, had a few days off back to work tomorrow though. We cant all have a life of leisure, jetting off around the world!!! I'm fasting tomorrow, don't know how I'm going to survive. I cant help it I just like food, its one of those built in, self survival mechanisms. Starvation = Death, Food = Life. Hey guess which one I prefer? Although I suppose I could be going a little OTT? I'm sure one day wont kill me. (I think?) Oh well will soon find out. I have just scoffed my face in preparation though. Kind of bloated now! But I do still have that tub of Ben & Jerry's you left. Could maybe eat a little more? Ummm!!!

Those Possum's are a bit cheeky. Get some of those sweets that make your mouth turn blue and when they come and sniff you for food give them one. Some people may say that's cruel but serious comedy factor. Oh if there's anyone from the RSPCA reading this, it is of course only a joke and I would not condone any such behaviour. There that should stop me getting fined for animal cruelty. But I would probably still laugh if I saw a Possum with a blue mouth!

Your photo's are good, especially the bike street. I'm presuming that one was for my benefit? The one's of you are good too of course. You really do like taking picture's of yourself, and strangely with your tongue out. This could be the early manifestations of a low level psychosis! Must keep a close eye on you and make sure it doesn't develop.

Just missed your Mom, Good Morning and Happy birthday to Hannah. Sunday morning and it's 10 o' clock, still warm, but abit windier and cloudier today. I'm on my own, Dave's gone up to Scotland for the weekend to see Uncle nat who's in hospital. We're all thinking of Cornwall, a bit late packing up but it'll do tomorrow. AntyHeth, gary and us will probably travel tuesday. Mat and sarah will probably travel with us. rachel and Dave aren't coming this year so no dogs to walk Shame! Alfie is getting better with his toilet training, though rachel says what can you expect because he was half price.
