so i have made it back to oz...and i dont want to be here...its too hot!! i lopved new zeland. i spent the last 2 weeks going round the south of the south island. so many nice places to go to to see. milfors sound is a fjord and so stunning...one of the wettest places in nz but we hada dry day so very lucky. saw some yellow eyed penguins, some seals and scarfies (dunedin's student population!). had a good time.

headed back to queenstown afterthe 5 day trip round the bottom. met up with some people i knew from the buses beforre. i played mini golf (and won). i am not quite sure how i manged to win but that was good fun.

generally did nothing for the last days in qt...no money! i stayed one night in twizel..which is near to mount cook-the highest mt in nz. but there was nothing at all to do so i hopped back on the bus the following day to go back to christchurch. i got to chch late friday afternoon..bumped into some people i knew and headed off out to celebrate halloween...bin bag dress again came in useful-not quite sure what iwas dressed as but i kept getting comments on it!

saturday ended in bed most of day as hungover (again , yes i know!) and spent saturday eveing wahtching the nz vs nz rugby game..early to bed and then headed to the beach on sunday with adam-a guy i met up on the glaicer hike. spent the day on the new brighton beach. i wrotwe my name in his back with sunscreen so now he has my name tatooed on his back !!!hahah!! he was not too impressed but hey ho, he let me do it! we had pizza and beer in ther park for dinner berfore we headed out for a farwell drink (s).

left chc on monday and after a very hard journey..flight was delayed by 1/2 hous then had to wait for ages to get bags off plane. then had to get bag inspected at customs then had to wait for bus to city. then bus got lost whilst dropping someone off so all in al it took about 3 hours from landing to getting my hostel which is a hole...its new but not well thought out.had a grumpy day yesterday!!

met up with clodagh last night who i met and lived with in bowen for 3 months. had a good chat and chinwagging session about the good old days in bowen! it was so good to see her. we are going to meet up tonight before i head down to surfers paradise to see some friends i met in alice springs. hopefully get back to syndey on the weekend to start work next week.

its all good!! its 30deg today for those of you are hating the cold weather-i am hating the hot weather!lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
