Okay so the biggest appology is in order! I have been neglecting you guys for the best part of a month.... my humblest and sheepish appology after promising an update at least every few days! Okay so here's the thing, it's been one hell of a ride! The islands down at Koh Tao were just incredible, a place to find my home for sure in the future. I just cant believe that a place like that exists on earth! So that was a massive distraction for a long time and the internet was super bad there anyway.
Next came cambodia, which to be honest was a nightmare and drama everyday. Then came the wedding. A wedding to end all weddings! I will be sure to update these amazing times when I get home and have more time but for now just know that the last few weeks have been incredible.
Right now i'm in Malaysia, in GeorgeTown in Penang Island, with a Mr Oliver of course before he flies home on the 2nd from Singapore. So we are hitting a few cool things in Malaysia before we end up seperating at Kuala Lumpar.
In all honesty, I feel like my trip is coming to an end and I am missing home like crazy. I think that 2 months is a long time to be apart from all that you know and love but i have enjoyed being part of something else. I just wish to be home soon, not long left. 5 more weeks.
Three weeks in Vietnam and then 1 week in Malaysia before I head home from Singapore. Oh I'm looking forward to that 14 and a half hour flight home!
One little note before I leave you guys, wandering around last night we found a bar called The Hong Kong Bar. What. A. Place. It's been there since the 1920's as a drinking hole for army soldiers from Australia, England, China and Malaysia. The regiments all left their group plaques for the bar to line the walls with. It's been burnt down once and all the visitors books destroyed and wall plaques damaged but new ones have popped up literally weekly. This place is something of stories. Signed walls and hanging toys and memories. It's a human place, if you get what I mean. It's a symbol of humans all together and when you read the plaques it's incredible to find out what has happened to many men and their families.
Anyways, I will stop there as it's too hot here in this hostel out of the air conditioned room. it's hitting 38degrees each day. it's insane. I will say this though. Malaysia is lovely. the people are nice, the food is FANTASTIC and the cities are laidback. I'd recommend a trip for anyone.
Okay guys, so I hope my appology can surfice. Miss you guys so much, more than anything right now. Maybe home will be a few weeks early, not sure yet.
Chat to you soon my loves,
xXx
