How am I going to explain everything that's happened today! OKAY
8.00am we left for Paris from bourge (2 and a half hour drive- Aurelle drove for an hour).
We arrived in Paris at our hotel at about 10.30am and made a quick turn around as we had a big day ahead.
- first up we went to the tour Montparnasse, one of the tallest buildings which had as amazing views of all of Paris
- then we caught the metro to a big garden which was near the pantheon (forgot what it was called)- but it was really nice (got swooped by million birds)
- then went breifly to the pantheon, stuck our heads in and had a look- they're re- doing the top dome part of it
- then we went and had lunch at a restaurant near there- so yum, I had cheese ravioli or something
- then we to Montmartre (so many stairs!)- by the time we reached the top I was really really out of breathe!
- Sacre Coeur- absolutely amazing, lovely views- it was the moment that I actually froze for 5 minutes (literally) and realised that I was in Paris, I was in Paris, how amazing and lucky am I!
- then we ate a macaron- so yummy! I had caramal!
- we then walked down a really nice street with lots of food shops
- caught the metro to the champs elyeese! There's amazing Christmas lights all up and a Christmas market so we just walked along there looking at it all- extremely busy, we could barely moved! We lost philippe at one point!
- then it started raining so we went and had dinner at a place called papa's pasta- more pasta...
- then have come back to the hotel! And showered (there's some stories about these showers) then went to bed as we were beyond tired!!!
