This morning we woke up at about 9.30am in Florence's parents home. It was Christmas Eve and on Christmas Eve they spend their evening with with Philippes mother. So at about mid day after we'd relaxed and re packed while flo wrapped final presents, we left for the other grandmas house who lives in Bourges only 15 minutes away. When we arrived there we ate lunch; duck with potatoes. After that Aurelle and her grandma prepared the dinner for tonight whilst I just read my book whilst watching tv with the others.
That night we had Florence's parents join us and we ate Christmas Eve dinner. We had foie gras (goose liver I think!) then scallops with this strange salade thing, I didn't know what it was. Then we ate lamb with salade and then icrcream and french bread called brioche. Very nice! This was around the time I skype my family, lovely to hear from them. Miss them so much.
We then visited the cathedral, but, the cathedral was a very long service and we only really went to show me the cathedral so we left half way through. When we got home we opened friends which we had gotten. Drank coffee and tea and went to bed. Early start in the morning. MERRY CHRISTMAS MELBOURNE! Wish I was there! ❤️
