The Grande Prairie crew arrived safe and sound in Lethbridge last night. We had an opportunity to meet and visit over some refreshments.Got our bonds straightened out with the bondsman and he assured us that all was in order for the U.S. border.
We were on the road at 0900 after a quick meeting with all.A short hour later we arrived at the border.Went through passport check and then into the xray for all the vehicles. Then it was off to present our passports and our vehicle bonds to the officials. A scant three hours later we were released- however Bob did loose his grapes to the agricultural officials. Then off to Shelby, Montana for fuel and road food.At that point, one of the buses had a belt problem, so we split up.The two fire trucks and the other ambulance (Murray, Vic, Duncan, Glenn, Frank and Henry) were off to lead the pack to Dillon, while the belt was replaced.
After a short stop in Helena for fuel, it was off again to Dillon.
We arrived at Dillon at 8:30, had refreshments and then off to find food in the Town.Convinced the waitress at Pizza Hut to let us in and then the rest of the crew advised for pizza, salad bar and wings.
Tomorrow is Beaver Utah.
