So first day in a 4 month tour... after a great send off in good old Perth, and a weekend in Edinburgh we finally began with a 4.30am start from Kev´s flat in the Boro and arrived in Dublin in the morning weary and gagging for a Guiness! Wandered about for ages looking for a pub before realising it was 10.30am! Headed off to see the Temple Bar, oldest Pub in Ireland (apparently, don´t hold me to that), a wee Guiness then as there was not much time to see everything, agreed our priority and headed off to St James´s Gate to see the how they make the fabulous black stuff! Good tour, and a panaromic pint at the top of the brewery... definately the finest place for a Guiness! Back to the hostel for our first attempt at cooking.. A few quite ones after that, and another early start in the morning!
