A long day on the truck heading towards Maun, gateway into the Okavango delta.

Plan for today was to cross the Botswana border, all being well the passports would be in Bulawayo for collection. Stayed in Maputo instead of spending hours in Bulawayo. About 9 the word spread a package had arrived at DHL office. So packed tents and camp away and headed for town. An hours stop for lunch and back onto the truck and collected passports. Staying at antelope park for another night whilst we wait for a passports to arrive back in the uk, hopefully complete with our Ethiopian visas. Woke at 6 this morning to walk with lions, one of the main activities I wanted to do when I came to Africa, and it didn't disappoint! Met up with the lion cubs at there enclosure and headed off into the park. Such a surreal feeling walking besides a lion, not something I would be able to do feeling so relaxed. Woke up at 8.30, slight hang over from wine consumption the previous night, still not a wine fan. Quite a jam packed day today, starting with lion breeding. Learnt a lot about the breeding program at antelope park, it consists of 4 stages starting with the rearing of lion cubs and finishing with the lions being placed back in the wild and being able to support themselves.
