Glad to meet with students from Hong Kong University and surprised by the presence of students from Washington University. There was a bit of light moments from the introductions and we were later divided into four groups. The ex-Poly U students who are interning in the hospitals then taught us the process of making the orthosis. That day we had our first dimsum during lunch and I was happy to order one of the Chinese foods I loved. Later that night we went to the waterfront where we saw the lights in the buildings. The most surprising thing was when some Chinese tourist approached me and asked to have a picture. I didn't know how to take of it but I decided to satisfy their curiosity. This also happened to some other white and black students in the group. We then had the experience of taking a ferry ride to Hong Kong Island. Also Hong Kong was less congested than I expected but though it had more people in the subways compared to the other cities I have travelled.
