Woke around 5am and kept nodding back off to sleep until about 615am when I noticed beautiful blue sky through the skylight. Got up to walk the beach and took both boys with me as they were just beginning to stir. The water was crystal clear again and as flat as a pancake and the beach completely empty. We walked along to the main jetty near the town and came across a massive rock pool as the tide was out. The boys found a few sea urchin shells and kept sticking their fingers in the sea anemones to make them close up! We also saw a massive manta ray just resting in the shallows and he was still there on our way home. Back at the van, Nick had got up not long after me and had completely tidied while waiting for the girls to wake up. We had coffee and then began the breakfast run. This is taking about 2 hours at the moment from start to finish as the boys alone are eating 2 weetbix, a bowl of muesli and then an egg on toast - each! Once cleaned up, we walked the beach back into town for the papers and bread and saw dolphins again and a huge flying fish! The kids had a quick swim and then it was back to the van for a few hours of reading, coffee drinking and eating fresh bread. By 3pm we hit the beach again and all had a swim. The wind had picked up a bit but this bay is tucked around the corner and so is ideal. Home for sausages in a bun for dinner and then yet another walk along the beach before showers, a game of Loot and then bed - I've never had so much exercise!
