A relaxing day today, but we folded to the kids demands to do the donkeys again.
Amusingly, I must look like a Greek local now, and the donkey handler gave me the stick, taught me the Greek word for "hurry up" and let me lead six donkeys up.
Living is cheap here, even in touristy santorini, huge salad rolls, big enough for two people are $2.50, mains in a restaurant are generally under $10 (if you don't eat where there is a view), and for a cheap dinner, a huge gyro is $2.50 euro.
A small travel tip. In Greece the toilets aren't built for toilet paper, it gets put in a bin next to the toilet... Your first trip to Greece should be in a hotel that is cleaned daily, not like my previous trips, once in a campground, once in a backpackers...... It's less of an assault on the senses.
Tomorrow we get the ferry to Naxos.
