Hola all
We have now entered Peru after over one month in Bolivia. Thoroughly enjoyed Bolivia and would rate it as our favourite country so far - amazing scenery with such diversity from the amazon jungle to mountains and so many different ways to kill yourself from the 'world´s most dangerous road`, visiting a mine with drunk miners an…

OMG, the ride down that mtn!! Would love to do it, still cant help but think of how handy all that MTB training in the Adelaide hills was. Well the one trip we did, on a bike with almost no brakes- ideal. Well done LB, and you had even less prep- legendary stuff.

Reading your blog I'm kind of glad we didn't get to the mines - I don't think I would have coped for 2 hours down there!
What's next - are you planning on tackling the 'World's Most Dangerous Road' on a mountain bike? Bets are on in Adelaide that you'll both do it ...
Great to read your blogs.
Enjoy!

San Pedro was closed for visitors when we were there, but read Marching Powder so can imagine the visit with your photos - only in crazy Bolivia!
Where next for the MT&LB roadshow? Keep the updates and photos coming it's great being on the end of someones adventures.
Just had a quick break to Noosa with the Bartons and Maungs - slightly less adventurous than your current country of residence - surfing, wining and dining was the theme.
Stay safe and look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Cheers

The mining tour?? Sounds like an old Lee marvin movie set, all that missing was a drunk horse and Clint Eastwood on guitar. Sounds mad. Mark down hill on bike, yea thats about his level now. Had to laugh reading your 'no money' story! Another great read LB, ta.

This all sounds very dangerous until I reflect that 30 miles down the road in Tijunana 3,000 people have been recently gunned down in the drug wars that are raging at the moment - its all relative I suppose. Take care.

OK, Now you have given your poor mums heart failure, sometimes you can say 2 much in an update, but we are sooooo glad you survived another couple of bus rides, the mine and the drunken, explosive happy miners!!! What about heading home, settling down and populating Aus!!!! Your travels are just amazing, you could star on National Geo....WOW! Watch out Bill Bryson. You guys have the most amazing travel book yet to be published!
Take care, be very careful and keep the updates coming, we love them. Have to fly, Teletubbies are calling!!!!! xx

Have snatched the Argentinian glacier photo for my screensaver. It looks stunning, lucky you - so why the grumpy face Mark? Hope you are not getting complacent (another bloody mountain / volanco / lake / winery etc). Think of sitting at your office desk, and smile!

Hi guys
Great Blog, very jealous. Nat and I are now 6 weeks into relocation in Brisbane - all going well, although would rather be travelling around South America!
Just wanted to say hi and keep up the good work.
