Hi everyone,
We said we wouldn't do a daily blog but after fifteen years in the business we couldn't stay out of the spotlight.
Well after last nights plane trip with Lina's uncle it was good fun flying low and spraying the poppy fields with some crop spray. Lina's uncle explained that is how they keep there red colour. As we both love doing charity work we were made up when some soldiers came out and took our photos.
We waived at them and they seemed to enjoy themselves, but then Lina's uncle said we must go and that was when we had problems. The old plane doesn't have a good navigation system well it did until Dec lost the map when it blew out of his hand and then we ran out of fuel so the nearest place was Tabul Afghanistan.
We love this new place as we feel it has the makings for a great show and the people were so nice and the police we very friendly they gave us a room for the night.Had a poor nights sleep as Dec was restless and kept practicing his lines for our new show. So we got up early and the police gave us a guided tour of the city in an open tope vehicle.
The people all were setting of fireworks to welcome us and it reminded us of the time we switched on the lights in Blackpool. When we got to the square we had to walk up on stage it was like the X factor all over agin, as there were TV crews everywhere. Then it daunded on us what it was we had been recognised and they wanted us to host "Afghanistan has got talent".
Well what a show fireworks in the background people screaming at is not that we understood it but it was great we got a real buzz. Then all went quiet and a load of solider came in with photos of me and Dec in the plane. We gladly signed them all and with all the excitement and heat Dec claimed he could see the Jiggy Bank pig in the distance.
Slowly he fainted and then I realised what he has seen it was a tank coming towards us. All the people disappeared and there was only me and Dec left, It was a bit like when we used to sing and we cleared the room. The soldiers came and took us back to Kabul.
