Wednesday came and it was time to go home after seven weeks away. We had a mid afternoon flight so we did not have to rush. We had three suitcases and we knew we would have to pay for one. We also knew that at least one of them would be overweight. We were charged $35 for the extra bag. When attendant weighed the bags the 1st two came in at 49 pounds. The last one was a whopping 56 pounds. She said it would be an additional $100 unless we took the excess out. We started to go through it but then she took sympathy and said she would let it go but don't do it again. Thank you American Airlines. The flights home were wonderfully uneventful and we got to the house about 9:30PM. It was good to be home.
