WHOA! It's OCTOBER. holy crap. this past month has passed through my eyes in like 30 seconds. wow. i thought i updated this after london buuuut apparently not!! I've been meaning to update this but there is just NO time! I barely have time now! I'm supposed to be on the ship in like 30 mins or else i get dock time soo i gotta make this quick!

So as an unplanned activity, I am in the canary islands of spain! We were supposed to be in Morocco right now, but because of all the US embassy drama, we had to skip Morocco :( and stay two extra days in spain and then spend two days one night in the Canary Islands. So sad we couldn't go to Morocco, but clearly, i'm not complaining. I just got done hiking a huge rock formation right next to a volcano..my picture above is from the bus ride back to the ship. If you think of the grand canyon and colorado mountains in the summer, then you know exactly what it looks like here. but it's beautiful but so not what i was expecting! yesterday we spent a day at the beach, and i got my burn on-whoo! also i learned that if you drink 2 glasses of green tea a day, your chances of getting skin cancer go down so good news for monica the red head! gotta start drinkin that green tea! seriously, there are studies behind it!

So this month has been insane. i've only had 7 days of class, so keeping up with school work is basically a joke. but we're about to be kicked in the a** (censored for deb) because after this we have 6 days on the boat and i have two midterms and a paper. YUCK. time for a reality check.

All the countries have been amazing. Each experience has been completely different from the next. and each day seems to get better and better. it breaks my heart to think that a month has already passed. My favorite countries so far have been Portugal and Amsterdam and Ireland. Portugal is so unbelieveably beautiful. The city reminds me of San Fransisco and Spain combined, and the beaches are so pretty. We had a scary night one of the nights--long story but someone followed us home and stalked our house and I ended up calling the cops...aaaaand it was literally the most scared i've been ever in my life. i also slept with a butter knife in my hand---we all did. super badass right? but don't worry! it all ended well!

Amsterdam is just such a curious city. So much goes on it's hard to take it all in in such a short time. I am dying to go back there. All types of people are welcome there. no matter who you are, you will be accepted. i absolutely loved it.

Benner and I had the struggle of our lives in Paris. Paris/the french hate americans, and now we hate french people. Benner left a GO USA note in our hotel HA.

Spain was beautiful. We spent 3 days in Ibiza, which was the biggest rollercoaster of my life, but so fun. When i have more time, i'll go more in depth with it.

Sorry this is so quick but it's all the time i have! Basically i'm alive, doing great, benner and i are doing amazing, we've met amazing people and seen more than we ever thought we would. The SAS schedule has been overwhelming at times, but i've learned to try to keep my flustered-ness at a certain level---key word TRY.

I miss you all! I want to skype everyone! I've skyped al pal, mon and kenz and my parents which made me the happiest person alive-so i want to skype more of you when i have time!
