It is now 9:19 pm and I am writing this on 10/10/07.
Today Beth and I went to Inuyamajo and it was so beautiful. Though we got a bit lost in the city it was fun to explore the area. These drinks we got were really funny. You push in the top thin plastic with a plastic bottle thing that you push down on the bottle. Then the soda fizzes over the top. It is good.
I tried green tea ice cream and it was definitely interesting. It was definitely interesting, not bad, but I am not sure if I want to eat it again. On the way home went in the wrong side of the subway stop and had to jump down and cross the walkway to the otherside, annoying but funny. Then not realizing that the train on the way home goes a different way we got lost again and ended up in the wrong Nagoya station. I had to use some funky Japanese to get the point across to the man at the info booth in order to get dirrections home. Then when we finally get to the right station we decided to go the opposite way of home and go back to the other Nagoya station in order to go to Midland Square and go to see the Sky Promenade which on the 44th floor at the top of the building and overlooks the entire city. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. There was a mist light show. I also believe Nagoya is so far the largest city I have ever seen. There is over 2 million people! I wish that my school was actually in the city like I was led to believe it was before arriving. I would love it more here if I lived in the city, though I still really like it here. It would just be nice if I didn't have to take the bus and then the subway for 20 minutes to go to the actual city. See the school is in Nissihin prefecture which is on the outskirts of Nagoya so it is not really in the city.
