Harry´s Travels
Hmm can´t remember where I got up to in my last post. I went the markets in San Telmo one day, that was real nice. Went to another Boca game this weekend which was even more packed and crazy than last time. I started Spanish lessons at a really good school just down the road from my hostel (well, as of today, my ex-hostel). Im learning a lot, the first 3 days of classes were just me and one other student in the class, so we got through a lot. Now theres 4 people in the class, still good though.
Yesterday we went on a 'school trip' to the Evita Peron museum. The tour was in spanish, and I understood it! So Im really getting into it, practising with other people at my hostels, even tho theyre foreigners learning too. Oh, I moved hostls today, which is good for my Spanish because I can do more work basically as they have a place to work (we get homework), they even have a library in the hostel! Its a very fancy one. Its also good seeing the other side of town since I think I may leave very soon.
In fact, Im about to go to the bus station and see if I can get tickets to Iguazu this weekend.
Today I went to Recoleta grave cemetary, its an amazing though at the same time sickeningly over opulent place. I took tonnes of pics, but i forgot to bring my camera cable to the internet cafe. It reminded me a lot of seeing the tombs in Egypt as well.
Tomorow Im going to La Boca, and the schools gonna show us around. Its the poorest neighborhood (I think) and very arty.
Ah forgot to say, a couple days ago I went to an eat all you can meat grill with two london guys i met. It was amazing. Hundreds of different meats, it was a massacre. I think it was 6 pounds, and you got free drinks too. Not bad, not bad.
