Hola, things are well.
The border crossings, both in the US and guatemala, went smoothly which was pleasantly surprising.
For the past night we (myself, Ben and Brian) have stayed at the gato negro or black cat which is a fun little hostel tucked in between a jewelry store and an internet cafe. Only one more night will be spent here however as tomorrow at five am we leave for an overnight trip to volcan acatenango.
