Had a wonderful evening at Sofitel Heathrow with dinner at Carluccio's 5. Spent this morning sipping coffee at Cafe Nero watching planes take off before waving goodbye to my parents.

Enjoyed duty free and lunch at Wagamama's airside. The sake went down well although it may have contributed to me nearly missing flight! I got off at wrong mono-rail stop for my gate so had to run (like Usain Bolt) along tunnels to get to gate! Made it by the skin of my teeth.

Flight good and I managed to speed watch seven movies. Now at hotel in the first state of my tour (Georgia). Head to Atlanta Amtrak early to collect rail pass. Looking forward to meeting Rachael & John before heading to Smoky Mountains.
