Rachie Hey morgy! Happy australia day! did you have a fab day?? well its been a quiet one for the townsville crew. we went out the sunday night instead and did what most aussies do and get heavily intoxicated. i for one didnt get into it in my usual way as i had the flu most of the weekend. dengue fever has hit townsville as well as the usual ross river virus, so trying not to get bitten by those nasty b*****s. the wet season in north qld has well and truly hit. no cyclones to report as yet just flooding and severe storms. get the oppurtunity to head to brisbane more now as my dad has just moved there for work so a few weekend trips away is on the cards. went back to perth for 3 weeks over the xmas and new year break. was great to see everyone. although still didnt get to catch up with all the people i wanted to see. Ryan is planning his next trip OS so you may see him sooner rather than later. i think he wants to do the camp america then on to europe. Building a house this year which is gonna be great. little modern queenslander with all the nice trimmings:) future plans are to possibly travel next year and head off for 6 months or so, but will see on the work and money situation when the time comes. well i hope your not missing home too much. happy travels rachie xoxoxoxoxo

Finn Of course I read it. Never thought I'd say this but I'm quite happy here just having adventures through you. Remember who taught you all you know! I just found out I get paid all of January for doing nothing so I'm thinking I might go backpack in Asia for a week just so I don't forget how to do it, the cheap flights are getting better and better. Jon and I are buying a house next year when his house sells and I have a job signed up so I won't be doing any big trips for a while, maybe Canadia next year when Susan goes to live there. They are offering TEE psych now so I've said I would teach that haha, imagine me teaching high school after being in pre-school all year! Loving the diary but s***, lay off the booze once in a while! They're having big anti-drinking campaigns here cos it's leavers week this week. Ciao ciao
