Glad to hear Em got some antibiotics which have, hopefully, sorted her out now so she can look forward to and enjoy the rest of the cycling - you too Mike. Hope your day at the elephant sanctuary and festival has made you feel excited about spending 4 weeks looking after them. Did you manage to buy anything interesting at the shops today? Take care both of you.xxx

Glad to see you heeded the blog warning. Great to hear from you. It appears that Emm's troubles were worse than we thought but glad to hear that she was able to complete some of sections and that common sense prevailed on others. The reaction from the locals sounds facinating and must seem very odd. The current location sounds as if it's just the tonic for Emm especially with a bit of shopping thrown in for good measure. The boat trip must be soon to give you a break from the saddle. Must organise a call home when you get to the next stage of your trip. Seems like Pierre's been out in the sun for far too long. I think he just bottled out due to his age!!! Not sure if you know but Hants made it to the final of the Caribbean T20 and lost in the final to Trinidad and Tobago. Hope the rest of the bike trip goes ok.

We would like it noted by all pesrons that we definately put that stupid Pierre on the plane heading for Bangalore India. We accept no responsibilty for his non arrival.

The Mirror Creature
During my latest mid-night prowl through the house of a one Ms Saunders, I regret to inform you that I had to devour the stuffed toy that resembles Whinnie The Pooh, as I had no other human option on whiche to dine. And as if to add insult to injury, sadly, one of my warts burst whilst I was crawling on the ceiling above what I believe was Ms Saunders bed. Dont you humans like having yellow ichor over your pillows, I am sure you must. Anyway, whispers from the other goblins and ghouls that live in the mirror with me tell tales that you are visiting India. I will have to try and find a mirror over there in which to drag my swollen body through and visit you. Pleasant dreams:)
Mum

''Hello my son, do you want a lollypop?'' Mike! I almost feel shocked to the core of my soul that you claim there is nowhere to engage in some cricket! When did a lack of space or actual bat and ball ever stop us from playing. Dont tell me you have already forgotten the hallowed workshop that had its arse kicked out by the likes of us?! Now play ball man! On the cycling side of things, sounds like a hard yet rewarding slog. keep going! If you can crack a hill climb of that distance then you are made in the shade. Feel the Bern!
Mike (And Em)
Hello one and all. Just a very quick update.
We are in Ooty, an od Raj era hill town. The riding for the past few days has been tough as we have been in the mountains, today it culminated in a 28KM hill climb which im proud to say i made!
Em has been under the weather again so has sat out today but hope she will be back in the saddle tomorrow. We have just had the doc round and been to pick up sme tablets for her. Nothing to worry about, just very tired.
Will give you a blog when we can highlighting all the cycling.
Cricket could be hard as we have no where to play as of yet but once we are at the beach you never know!
