Got up and met Grant and Daniella and headed into town. Feeling pretty stressed with results and G and D didn't help. Were just expecting me to all the map reading and decisions and then blaming me when the place wasn't very good. Wandered around the nice bit of Vienna admiring old buildings. Came across the Rathaus and found a film festival going on, apparently very good in the evenings. Ended up feeling so 'blah', stressed and tired I headed back to the hostel about 2 with the intention of going out again later. Ended up spending the afternoon on the internet. found my results!! So pleased and huge relief, called the family and turned into normal person again! Booked the rest of my trip and even flight home. Spain v busy in Aug so thought it best. Adelena, Mal and Phil arrived about 5 and then had a few drinks chatting to them. They bought me a couple of wine spritzers to celebrate. Sat on hostel terrace and felt very content. Slow decision to go out to dinner and eventually left with a group in tow to the Centimetre restaurant. A very cool idea (innovative even!) all food is charged for in centimetres, i.e. each centimetre of soup was 0.15 euros. Also had 'wheelbarrows' for a few to share, actually came out in a mini wheelbarrow, very cool. Loads of food in it and those that had it enjoyed it. I had schnitzel as am in Austria (and was cheap). Really good food, had a good chat and then some left to go to film festival while Mal, Adelena, Danny (german roomy) came back to the hostel. Got into bed and read my book, had book swapped for the first John Grisham I've read and liking it a lot. other choice is the Hobbit, not sure how I'll go with that one!
