On Sunday, we did a float with Kiana on the Yellowstone River. We entered at Loch Leven and exited at Mallard's Rest launch sites. My father had made Kiana her own version of the Native traveler in the much-loved book, Paddle to the Sea. With her name and Grandpa Mike's email on the bottom (so that people who find him can email us his progress) we launched Paddle for his own voyage to the Mississippi and the Gulf of Mexico at New Orleans.

Chris and I each caught some fish and again, we enjoyed a beautiful day. Afterwards, we enjoyed the Peanut Butter Blast parfait at Dairy Queen. Nothing tastes as good as ice cream after fishing.

We then had a lovely dinner at The Bay in Bozeman.
