G'day from Australia! Well its about time to update this thing as ive been here a week now and have been so lazy all week...i'm so tired and ive tried to chill out as much as possible so now i'm ready... So i arrived last sunday and after eventually getting to the hostel i nearly got straight back on the plane again. I got to my room and it stank of wee and given that its only girls in my dorm it was a total bomb sight. I have never seen so many messy and dirty people in my life. After wrestling with some girls crap for an hour i managed to finally get to bed!!! Hooray! Well to say the least this place is a total dump! Cochroaches galore, bed bugs, drugs and the most disguistingly minging people on every corner! Totally a let down after all the wonderful places ive stayed. If this is the only bad place then i cant really complain. If i wasnt working here for my accomodation then i would have checked out straight away but given its only two weeks i cant be harmed too much! Met a girl called Sally from Leeds and when the other girls finally moved out of our room be blitzed it and cleaned everything however worse was to come when we emptied the dustbin and some dirty cow bag had weed in our bin. It absolutely stunk! I cant beleive a girl would actually do that! Foul people! Never mind i got it sorted haha! My first day was spent walking around oxford street and beinga model for toni and guy - i'm now blonde woo hoo! Its so nice being back light again! I really like it! So the next day i basically slept, read and listened to music most of the day and then we went to the cinema to see the DaVinci Code. I loved it! It was just as i had expected! That night Katie and James flew in and i was so happy to see them. I was a little embarassed about the hostel but they soon got used to it! After a good nights sleep me, katie and james started our sightseeing adventures and went for a very long walk around sydney. I'm so glad i bought some trainers! We walked through some lovely parks, had a fried breakfast, went to circular quey and saw the harbour bridge and the opera house (i was slightly shocked at how small it all looked but maybe thats because i am comparing it to other places ive been!) We walked through the botanical gardens and had a hilarious laugh at the park rangers trying to fish for a camera that a chinese man had dropped into the see. Comical! Katie was in there trying to have a go but i think they thought she was slightly insane so they wouldnt let her! We then went for early tea and had a few drinks. Well actually we ended up having more than a few drinks! We played circle of death and lots of cards and even got the locals involved in our drinking game antics. It was hilarious, especially when Katie and i had to hop around the pub backwards without looking suspicious. I cried with laughter! After this pub we went to another and it was still quite early when we went home but we were all quite drunk to say the least. I felt a bit worse for wear but i soon realised it must be the antibiotics!! Ooppsie! The next day we went on another adventure and went on a ferry to Manly. We went to the beach, had some amazing ice cream, paddled in teh sea and had a great walk. In the end we were all so tired we eneded up sitting on a bench all cuddled up and staring into space for a while. We looked like the most untidy and lazy bunch of people ever. We then went to Lunar Park (fun fair!) and then darling harbour for chinese! (Are you slightly seeing a pattern of eating here! Its all katie and James do apparently its what there relationship is based on haha!) We decided we liked the beach so much that we were going to go to Bondi the next day! So up the next day we went to Bondi Beach. It reminded me of bournemouth, it was wet and freezing too! Wish made it special esepcially when me and owens stripped off to our bikinis and went for a swim. We didnt realise until it was too late that we actually went into the most dangerous part of the sea and were sucked right in a few times. Ive never felt sea like it! Apparently i we had of been dragged out to see we would have had to ride it out for 2-3 miles at least! Not good! When we got out it was so cold i thought i might die of frost bite! We got hot chocolates and fish and chips and then went back to the hostel for a nap! After our nap we went to the most exciting thing ever! A RUGBY match! It was so exciting! Very wet and cold but we had the funniest time ever. I miss watching the rugby soooo much! It was perfect. a couple of beers, cup of tea and a hot dog! Great looking men rolling about in little shorts in the mud! Perfection ahah! We one in teh last minute of the game. It was so funny cos it was the only try in the whole game and then everyone thought the game was over. The players were all shaking hands and leaving the pitch and even the mascot was dancing about in the middle the ref kept blowing his whistle and no one was listening- it turns out the game wasnt over and the kick after the try hadnt been taken. Everyone came back on the pitch and had to carry on playing! Funny! We went back to the hotel feeling very wet and cold but it was worth it! So what else have i done?? Ummmm cant remember!! Oh yeah. I went out for a night out last night and went to a place called chinese laundry which was sucha cool nightclub. Katie and James spent the day and night together as james was leaving today so i went with the guys and gals from the hostel. I even managed to fall asleep in the nightclub! oops! Ive actually spent the weekend cleaning too! I actually really enjoyed cleaning as it looked and smelt so much better afterwards. The hostel sparkled after my magic fingers had worked there magic!! I'm so awesome haha!! Had a hangover from hell today so apart from cleaning, sleeping and having a scrumtios steak ive done nothing! Ah well! So my lovlies i'm going to go to bed soon cos i'm shattered! I will update again soon i promise and if ive forgotten something i will put it in tomorrow! Hope everyones ok!
