Hello everyone,

I have finally managed to get long enough in an internet cafe to upload some of my photos from the trip so far. I have grouped them according to where I've been so have a look when you get the chance,

I am in San Francisco and it has been so so lovely sleeping in a bed and not having to queue for the shower or having to wear flip flops into the shower. And we have two nights in a hotel as well.

Yesterday wandered around the city and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. Had dinner out in China Town and today we're all free to do what we want. After this I'm planning on strolling about the City a bit more and buying some warmer clothes for NZ as the temp there is roughly the same here as it will be there (Tim: I should have brought jeans, linen trousers are not that warm).

After this it's down the west coast to LA. And if you're ever in the US, avoid Nevada unless you go to Vegas. We had to endure a 8hr drive through it, and there is nothing there - not even buildings to look at, just miles of desert.
