Andy Hey Mon, Glad it's all still going well and you're having a great time. Looking forward to a long overdue catchup in November and going through your reams of photos! All well here, the teachings going well, the writing up is going well and it's all good really. Textbook all round work wise. Will possibly be putting togather a big grant application with a guy from work to the ESRC to study corruption in the post-socialist states which is rather exciting... What an exciting life (!)  Anyways, not much else to say so take care, stay in touch and have a good 'un!!  Andy x x

Debbie Good evening (whatever time it is there) Apologies for the blank message. It wasn't a joke, just human error (pressed return instead of delete - what a plonker!). I felt for you when I saw the birds. I remember your reaction when we saw pigeons when walking towards Woodford train station all those years ago! Just came back from The Spice of Life; a jazz bar just off Charing Cross Road. Met a couple of people from Music School whom I haven't seen for ages. A couple were playing in the band too. Feels odd to be watching a jazz orchestra rather than playing in it but nice to be able to appreciate the music without the stress of possibly messing up solos. Am off to see Little Britain at the Hammersmith Apollo with Tom tomorrow evening and am going to some ballets with my parents in the coming days, so am a busy bee this week! Have Monday to Weds off, so can at least enjoy myself without worrying about how tired I'll be at work!  Some of those views from the cable car etc were breathtaking. It's amazing to think that your photos show how different the regions of Australia are. My cousin is currently at Equine College but is considering going back to Australia when she's finished her course. She was there for a year, helping out with the horses at a stables. Annette All your pictures are making me wish I was back in Oz driving around in my pink spotty campervan!!  I hope you've managed to avoid boats for a little while and that you've grown to love animals on the farm!  As for me, I've survived my first parents evening and it went really well. Unfortunately I'm now losing my voice and all the parents think its from shouting at their children  (don't worry its not!) 3 days until half term.....

Karishmah hey mon, havent looked at your photos for so long!! i love the one at the lichfield national park. You're in the water!! yeh ;) i still get very jealous every time i sign in on this website thingy..... as for me, i started work at the new place three weeks ago. really enjoying it so far except for the commute which is about 1.5hr each way. but the people are lovely, the hours are great and the work is interesting. so fingers crossed it all stays that way. oh i have quite a dull life - i have nothing else to report really! are you back soon? cant wait to catch up. K

Debbie Hi Mon Thought I'd say a quick hello whilst I'm not busy at work. Have spent the last couple of weeks writing up stats/reports for our clients. For someone who's crap with Excel, it's not a bad feat! My brother is loving his course at St Martins. I've not seen him work so hard in ages, although I don't know how long the inspired phase will last. Saw a brilliant hip hop show with my Mum at the weekend at Stratford Theatre. Will also be visiting my Nan in a few weeks' time. Am going to have a look at your most recent photos now! Take care Love Debbie

Rozel Oh yeah and I've recently converted to your strange diet and I will soon be ordering strange concoctions such as cheese free pizza! Its really difficult and no wonder you are skinny cos you can't eat any of the deliciously bad for you foods ie chocolate! I have lost weight without trying its pretty cool!

Rozel Hello I am currently avoiding the 2nd half of a boring lecture on language and thought!!!! Sounds like you are having a pretty amazing trip! I am pining for all the space we had in NZ, I hate England! I am missing out on loads in Adelaide too at the moment because I have a new baby neice called Abbey, who I wan't be able to see for a few years! Its not fair! I spoke to them all the other morning and I miss them HEAPS! It was my birthday Oct 8th and I went to Alton Towers for the weekend. Lots of fun! I had a party last night at my house then we went to Kingston for a girls night out! Wearing pink party hats!!!!! hahahahahaha. I'll send pics when I get a chance! ooh! My room is finished too, YAY! Amy  Hello Monica, How be u at the moment? England is cold and wet and everyone in my house has the flu!!!! booo! I have sort of had it but thankfully (touch wood)  it has now passed on to some other unsuspecting victim!!! My friends and I have given up alcohol for a month- it is almostkilling me!! and they are making me go to kungfu at 7.30 in the morning as well to get fit! we went for the first time this week on wed andthursday morning i physicaly couldnt bend through the pain!! everyone was very amused!! Debbie Hi Mon That picture in the luge was hysterical! Thank you so much for my birthday postcard. Perfect timing! Went with Tom and my family for a Thai meal and to Jongleurs comedy club after, where I laughed so much I cried! Apologies for not wishing you a happy birthday on the right day. I'm usually quite good with birthdays but have somehow managed to forget 3 this year. Shame on me! Those glacier pictures are beatutiful, although it did make me shiver just looking at them.
