Just jamming in anothe A & O hostel at the moment - I saw Ben off this morning so tryin to keep myself entertained for the day. Turns out my trip to Cannes is 18 and a half, not 16 hrs, and it involves 4 changes, a 15 minute walk through Basel at 1am, and an overnight train to Nice with no bed. Love to all mandem. Stefan Yes yes the mandem Well after choosing a somewhat quiet beach town for reyes' birthday, by accident obviously, i cooked him scrambled eggs and read a poem created for the occasion, before playing the most ridiculously chaotic, loopy game of 'football' with forty local lads, more like a over sized game of tennis with lots of jumping about and booting the ball as far as possible in any which direction. Anyway that was fun because compared to them we were awesome, even if reyes believes he has lost his touch. We then gatecrashed a hostel/lodge at the end of the road and got absolutely battered with a group of strangers on four crates of beer and several bottles of rum and engendered several drinking games, which were loved. Especially by the ten 16 year olds who'd just arrived from Reading to do their duke of edinburgh gold, even the one who was so drunk he later shat himself. The teacher didnt seem to give a s***. Anyway after a Danish dude tried to start a fight with me, which i was having none of, much dancing and tomfoolery (and me rinsing the frankfurters, mayonaise and bread - standard on the crafty munchies) i passed out in a hammock and was awoken by a loud explosion, peered out to see a fireball and the oven on fire, with reyes kicking bottles and throwing scrambled eggs all over the shop. He then left, which i didnt know, and I found him on the beach the next morning, asleep with a stolen pillow and sand all over his face. Still pissed as a fart. Sounds like you lads are having a joke time, we currently killing time before a long bus to find white water in the west. Honestly cant wait to see you all, now less than three weeks till i arrive in the big LDN, and we wish we could be there to share your fun. Reyes says SAFE. He may have done so but he hasn't replied to my e-mail and I don't trust him to have any sense of urgency. Homo erectus owed a great deal to the development of the big toe.
