Well...

Actually, I tell a lie, I'm currently in London having come back home last October (2008) after ten months in Chile - but am going back there on March 5th! Coming back to London has been dreadfully dreary and I'm not just referring to the weather; after about 3 months back in my home town, I'm still looking for that all important temporary work assignment that'll earn me some vital plata/dinero/lucre/dough/wonga (can you tell that I'm bored..?) for the return trip. Like Johnny Guitar Watson said, 'ain't that a b****'...

With just a month or so to go before boarding the plane back to Chile, I don't quite know exactly how I'm going to get that money, but somehow I will, I must! This time there's much travelling to be done, Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Argentina with Macchu Picchu as the icing on the cake (what a sweet tasting cake that'll be - I think I'll have mine with some 'mate'!)

Ok then. Got some more jobhunting and travel planning to do. I'm looking forward to writing about that in the very near future!

These few photos (there were many, many more taken) are just a little taste and reminder of the good times spent in and around Santiago and Valpo - places we got to know very well, it was almost like a second home (Providencia is missed!)
