Mum Hi Jess, Em & Em, Good to catch up with you. Can't believe that you are coming to the end of your travels and in no time at all will be back to reality. Enjoy your couple (?)days in Saigon and safe flight to Bangkok and hope your time there is as good as the rest of your trip. It will be a new start for Jess in her London home and uni and Chavannes for Emma for a week before rejoining Emily in Loughborough. Mum Great to read about your continued adventures. Looking forward to the meals you learned to cook in Chang Mai. Dragonboat weekend was good - 52 boats racing and all went smoothly. Village Camps won corporate team catagory for the 3rd year. Back to work today and it only took half an hour of being there to already forget about our holiday :( Thursday is Jeune Genevois - will take Friday off so have a long weekend ahead - yippee :) Still battling with jet lag so will have an early night. Wilfred Hi girls, Really enjoy to read your blogs. It seems you are really enjoying your Asia trip. While you are in Koh Samui make sure you do not miss some very interesting natural "rock" formation. Ask anyone local and they will be able to tell you where to find it... Petra AARRGGGH!!! (That's me exclaiming jealously) This travel blog thingamawhatsit is amazing! I swear its a STA travel marketing ploy trying to tempt me to jump a plane and get on the backpacker trail, reading about what you guys are up to is reminding me of my asia travels and making me want to go back! hope you're making better food choices lol - we spent a whole afternoon in the mall in the petronas towers, is amazing! there was a photography exhibition on I seem to remember....anyways just wanted to say hi and happy travels! xxx

Mum/Hilary Hi Jess, Em Em, It gives me such great pleasure (and others too, I am sure) to read about your escapades and 'learnings'. Think after this you three need to go on an annual trip to different parts of the world and write a travel guide :) Just to let you know, Jess and Em, gave Alvaro the link to your blog so don't be surprised if you hear from him. All is well here. Weather not great at the moment but promises to improve. Webster orientation tomorrow for three days so pressure is on. Had a great weekend in Holland with Astrid and Erik - great meals, wine, talks and ...yes we did get some exercise in.............two walks in the the beautiful surroundings where they live. Celebrated Wilfred's birthday on Sunday in Naarden. Wilfred catered for us, neighbours and children with his usual cool style - a very enjoyable evening. We spent Sunday night with them and Wilfred got us to the train station by 5.45am to get our connection to Schipol for our flight home. Paul and Sandrine looked after house and animals - what a relief when Paul found Gizmo and Toffy (or is it Toffee?). All the animals are doing well. Papa/Willem Jan Hey girls, Great first blog entry and what wonderful experiences :) Mum/Hilary and I are now in Goor with Erik and Astrid; no monsoon here yet.......actually beautiful weather so far. Yesterdaz was quite hectic before we left, because Gizmo has decided to take Toffy for a walk-about! Mireille was totally upset since she may have left the door open. Anyway, cats nowhere to be seen, but finally, thanks to Nelson, Paul found them under the hedge......pfffff. We're off on our own walk-about today. Enjoy your day today. Lots of love, Papa/Willem Jan
