Day 5: Well, the morning after the massive New Year's celebration started a bit later than normal to allow all the party animals time to recover. Apparently someone from our group woke up in hospital (and he doesn't remember how he got their either...) but most of us pulled up fine, myself and Kristen included. Day 3: Today was the beginning of our New York New Years Contiki tour which started in Brooklyn, so we had to get up at quarter to six - well and truly before the sun was anywhere near rising - in order to get from the upper west side to Brooklyn for a 7:30 start. Day 2: Well, day two was a little less jam packed but just as tiring as yesterday. We started off the morning heading into Times Square again to buy tickets to a broadway musical - Kristen and I will be seeing Rent on Sunday, which I'm really looking forward to!! After purchasing our tickets, we headed over to the Empire State Building - quite a treck from Times Square, but at least we're getting a lot of exercise!! Day 1: Well, today has marked the beginning of our NY adventures. Kerrin found this awesome diner just around the corner from our hostel, so we had breakfast there- lovely food, and relatively cheap! We all dined for under $10 a head! The waitresses were lovely too- made a point of making sure we didn't pay any extra tipping, which was nice.
