Really enjoyed the couple days in Budapest, we went on a sightseeing boat tour to get a bit of local knowledge and did our usual explorations of the city by foot. Met up with one of Jacqueline's friends who was over with some friends for the weekend & went to a hungarian night club which was interesting! Took night train to Vienna and arrived at 8:30am to more rain - rubbish! Just spent day wandering around city following our tourist map and stopped in pub for Austrian beer & goulash soup - a new favourite of mine! Found a pub with self service beer pumps on tables which looked great but they werent working :-( Stop in Vienna was brief as off to Budapest for the night

Leaving Rome behind and heading back up Italy to Pisa where we spent the afternoon - saw the leaning tower & took the usual tourist pictures propping it up! First impressions of Roma werem't great, we spent 3hrs sitting on the floor of the train in between carriages from Milan as we didn't have reserved seats. Arrived in Switzerland after 10hrs on various trains!
