Day 1 - Arrival in Australia
I arrived in Sydney at 6:30am on 16th Feb.. After a very long 22 hour flight I was knackered! However, I got through passport control and baggage reclaim very smoothly! As soon as I walked through arrivals I saw the Oz intro guy who was picking me up and I was sorted! We just had to wait for another arrival and then we could get going! Eleana walked through and came over to us and we instantly became friends. We were both in awe as we drove through Sydney trying to take it all in!!
It was amazing and instantly fell in love! We had to stay awake the whole day to try and get through the jetlag so we ended up exploring Sydney and setting up our oz bank accounts and mobile phones! We met up with my friends Aaron and Laura who live in Sydney in the evening for a beer and a catch up. It was lovely as I havent seen them for years. However it all got a bit too much as I did find Elena asleep over her lemonade in the bar we went to!! Bless her the jet lag had won!!
We finally left and went to bed and felt like we were hallucinating where we were so tired!!
