We've made it to our third country, Singapore! Although not sure it really counts since we saw all the main sites in a day! Had a fantastic time in Kuala Lumpur, staying with Kristina's uncle Richard... much more luxury than we've got used to! Well, after being very underwhelmed by our first stop in Malaysia (Langkawi), we moved on to Georgetown on Penang island by ferry. Here we stayed in a great little hostel (100 Cintra Street) which was run by a lovely old Chinese guy who had made a little museum in the attic. Very quiant! We stayed in Chinatown and found some great food courts for dinner... fried rice, fried noodles, and many strange bits and pieces, not entirely sure of the origin of all of them!...

Saturday morning was the beginning of a long day's travels down to Koh Mook island, one of the Trang islands on the west coast. We started with a longtail boat from Railey to Ao Nang and then had to take a public songthaew taxi to Krabi bus terminal. Some time last week (we lose track) we set off from Koh Tao, heading to Krabi on the west coast of Thailand... and over the course of last week we seem to have used every possible form of public transport as we've travelled down to Malaysia!
