So, enough with the night trains. Turns out not all night trains have sleeper cars. This one left (theoretically) at 11pm and had some very uncomfortable old seats on it that I haven't seen the likes of since I was a kid travelling here. The train was packed, as in some had to be out in the aisles on little seats that fold down from the walls. I'm sure they slept just fine. July 28th I leave today for Rome on the night train. Its an overnight with bunks so I may actually get some sleep tonight. Maybe. Last night was my last night in Paris. Some friends from the hostel (Nina, Jake, Kate and Liana) all went down to la Tour Eiffel to go to the top. It took us 3.5 hours to get up and down again, mostly due to numerous painfully long lines.
