Well.... here we are... Landed in Bangkok Airport at about quater past three this afternoon Thailand time....! The airport is massive!

After going through the usual baggage collection etc it was time for me to go and find out exactly how we was going to catch the bus mum booked us on to the hotel. There must of been 3000 Thai people waving bits of paper with peoples names on it.... this wasnt going to be easy. As if by some sort of luck a lady walked up to me with my name on her piece of paper.... what a result...! We take a mini marathon to where the bus was parked....! After getting on the bus this very pleasant lady that had met us explained exactly what was going on and that the bus ride would be about an hour.... excellent no drama there....! 3 hours later we're still sat on this bus.... the traffic through Bangkok city centre is like nothing I've ever seen before....! Canvey Way at 8 in the morning has nothing on this place....! So we finally arrive at our first stop, Hotel Asia.

After going up to the room and making ourselves comfortable, it was time to go for a walk on the strets of Bangkok.... what an experience this turned out to be....! The guys with the tuk tuk's offered to take us around the whole of Bangkok for 10 baht.... i've heard you can end up in some very undesirable, some more desirable than others, places when agreing to go for a ride in these small smart car convertable like contraptions...!! See the above picture...! We swiftly walked on....! In search of a McDonalds or something that look half edible...!! This was too prove more difficult that first thought.....! We just ended up eating at the hotels chinese restaurant which was again an experience in itself....!!

Well not much more to report from here at the moment. We're looking to get out of Bankok a bit quick, only another 2 more nights here until the really nice stuff starts.... the islands here we come.....!
