What a busy few days! Fishermans Wharf. Check. Golden gate park. Check. Union Square. Check. Dripping grease all over my jeans whilst eating a gigantic burger. Check.... oh and getting sloshed on $2 vodkas. Double check.
Having a fab time. We love the hostel it's great fun and meeting lots of cool people. Going out on the bar crawl last night was a perfect way to get to know our neighbours however had resulted in us being rather unsociable today!
We were at fisherman's wharf yesterday and enjoyed going to the old fashioned arcade. http://www.museemechanique.org/ Skeggy ain't a patch on this place. Just a quarter to play any game you want, even the really dated freaky ones! Met the famous bushman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Famous_Bushman who until I met a local dude in a bar last night and drunkenly discussed environmental issues with thought he had the world deepest voice. Think Barry White then think ten times deeper.
Went up coil tower today which has amazing panoramic views across the city. Had to put my foot down when Dom reached about 70 photos...hope you're all looking forward to the slideshow when we get back!
Off to see the 49ers play tomorrow. People seem jealous that we have tickets don't think we realised that we were so lucky to get some. I have realised that I have to make a conscious effort not to put on an American accent when talking to people only been here three days by the end of our three weeks in the USA I will probably be rocking a deep south "well that just dills my pickle".
Weather is beautiful. We were told that October is the best month to come to San Fran, boom! Not a single cloud in the sky. Roughly 24 degrees.
We've realised that we're not going to get much time to explore Yosemite so we've made the executive decision and are leaving San Fran a day early to give us two nights of avoiding big black bears in Yosemite (don't tell my nan!).
