Ok this is the first entry of many on my adventure through Asia and Europe. I am currently in Beijing, China at the Somerset Hotel!! I guess the name of our school is popular in China too! We first went on a fourteen hourflight.....not the best memory of my experiences! The next day we went to The Temple of Heaven and The Summer Palace. it was so cool and intresting. The Temple of Heaven was for the Emperor's father, and he only visited the temple 3 times a year.....to pray. The Summer Palace was where the Emperor would go for the summer. It had a huge lake, and people were peddling boats. The next day we went to The Ming Tombs and The Great Wall of China. I learned that 13 of the 16 Emperors were buried there. And for The Great Wall, well theres alot of steps! Today I am off to The Pearl Market and an Acrobatics show- I wonder what I'll learn there!
