Mike and Andrea's Travels
On the 15th we drove from Gladstone and headed to Hervey bay. As it was only a 2-3 hour drive we stopped in Agnes Waters and the Town of 1770.
In Agnes waters there was a beautiful beach where there was a load of surfers and amazing sands. We had a good look around the village and the surfshop and spent the afternoon at the beach before driving to 1770. 1770 is where captain cook first landed in Australia, it was good to see where it all started. It was a beautiful little town with amazing views off the coast.
We then headed to Hervey bay where our hostel for the night awaited before catching the greyhound in the morning to Rainbow beach.
