Hiii

We got to Airlie beach, long coach ride from Cairns!!! Stayed in a place called Magnums, which is a pretty nice hostel, we were in an 8 bed dorm with an American couple, and some Brazilians who were mental! The beach was pretty nice, but the rain meant we couldn't sun bathe on it L There was a really nice lagoon swimming pool.

First night we found a drink called goon (really cheap wine, $10 for 4 litres) so had a lot and taught the Brazilians some card games. We went to a night club called Mama Africa's, which was good!

The Brazilians left and we got some 3 new roomies... Germans!!! They were pretty cool and all our age!! We spent the night with these and the Americans and hit on the Goon again. Luckily enough Goon didn't give us hang overs! J At 2am we all decided to get into our swimming stuff and thought it would be a good idea to go into the lagoon in the torrential rain, Abbey the American fell over on her arse on the way (which was hilarious), and when we all started running in, the guard went mental! We ran in, had a swim, ran out, and then all ran back in J and then legged it back to our hostel. Was a Good night J

The Americans left on the 24th, so we were left to drink with the Germans. We didn't have a very heavy night because we were off on a Boast trip on Christmas day.

Christmas days boat trip to the Whitsundays was fun, we had an amazing BBQ and snorkelled and caught up on sleep! All drinks were free so we had a few but weren't feeling up to having many. The Whitsundays were really nice; it is hundreds of islands full of lovely beaches.

The monsoon rain on boxing day was crazy, we weren't sure if we would be able to get the bus to Rainbow Beach because a lot of them had been cancelled due to flooding!! Luckily enough our bus left on time to Rainbow.Wheyyyyyy
