Waitomo

This was a stop off on the way to Taupo. We went to a place called Ruakuri Reserve which were glow worm caves! We went in one cave where we saw some prehistoc spider/cricket things! Apparently they were around in Dinosaur times! :) They weren't very nice.

We went to a place called Agrodome which was an adventure park. A couple of the guys went Zorbing, loads of us laid down on the grass while they rolled over us which was fun! We went on a speed boat called AgroJet. It had a V8 engine and was amasing. So fast.

Taupo

Stopped at Huka Foam Falls, best waterfall we've seen. The fall has an 11 metre drop, 220'000 litres pass through it a second! The pictures dont really show how good it was :(

In Taupo theres a massive lake known as Lake Taupo. Our hostel was just opposite it. The lake was made from a massive volcano eruption and its HUGE! Law went swimming in it with the guys but it was freezing! Mount Doom.. in Lord of the Rings 8-) is opposite us. We could have done the Tongariro Alpine National Park Walk across it but we don't have time so we shall do it on our way back up to the north island later :D Instead.... We did a SKYDIVEEEEEE!

It was unbelieveable. :)

We had a couple of nights here sooo we went out the night before our skydive. Intended on only a couple... but had a couple to many and we all did our skydive with a headache! :D Neverrr mind it was A.w.e.s.o.m.e!
