The advanced course was fantastic!! It was a lot more chilled out and we got to do so much more swimming. With the open water, even though you were in the sea and surrounded by fish etc, a lot of the time we were sat in a sandy bit prasctising skills (e.g. filling our mask and trhen clearing it etc!!) with the advanced there are only a couple of skills (like going upside down) and then its about exploring the dive site. We both had such a good time. Gem has decided she is going to come back next year and get her Dive Master, which is the next step and means she can work at the dive resort.

We did a night dive which was quite eeire but good, and a deep dive which was fanatstic and means we can dive to 30metres now. Also did a naturalist dive which concentrated on identifying the fish and we got to take a camera down and take some photos which was excellent. Been on 4 fun dives since when you basically just go out with a dive master and explore, no learning or skills. went out today with 2 dive masters jason and andy who we have been on a few nights out with so that was pretty funny, and saw my first stingray! and moray eel! No sharks and doubt we will see any now, but im not complaining too much about that (he he)

Been on a couple of nights out since the night of "the wine". went out for tapas with some of the dive masters (coincidentally), it was good, but me and gem shared tapas and the waiter didnt inform us how small the portions were so had to get a pizza afterwards. went on a night out a few days ago and ended up seeing jason and andy and nikki who are all dm's so that was cool. going for a meal tonight with jason and andy at a place called buddha view. i think its another dive resort a bit further out, and the retsuarant is out on the pier so that shuld be nice. and then tomorrow a lot of the dive master trainees will pass officially so a lot of people should be out. we are going out for a steak with our instructor justin and maybe a guy who was on our open water course called reece!

Its been cloudy today so we went to get a thai massage after diving...those women are brutal. one of them sat on the back of my kness and dragged my arms back as far as they would go, i also had my feet up around my head and one point. feel so good now though, for some reason it makes you sleepy but god knows why because you couldn't sleep during the massage. those women have torture thumbs!!

we were supposed to be leaving today, then it was monday now its turned into wednesday. who knows if we will ever leave!!
