Coolish start to the day, still warm enough for shorts and t shirts though. Breakfast with Barb and a mile together. Picked up my passport from reception as we need it in NZ.
Sat in Anderson's with Barbara until lunch time, when the clocks went forward an hour to GMT +13. Battle of the Sexes then. Men lost this one, but Andrew joined Ruth to host it and it was much more fun.
I lost in the first round of the quoits but was the 'lucky loser', so played again. This time I got through the next round and then my winning quoit was knocked out by the last quoit of the end. The couple that beat us went on to win the final.
Lost the IQ. I was appalling. I scored a miserable 9 1/2. The winner scored 13. It was Coral today and her questions are always stinkers.
First formal night of the sector, so our wine stock will deplete a bit. The table linen and bedding are now ironed, the tenders appeared to be working in Sydney and the GPS is back on the TV, so they've all been fixed, however, Horizon, the ship's daily magazine is now in black and white until San Francisco.
Won my first gold sticker of the sector. My fifteenth of the cruise and I won it in the Countdown competition on the 5 o'clock radio show. There was no 9:30 quiz as there was a ball on in Carmen's. We felt we had to take part in the Syndicate Quiz as we won last night. In the event, we came first equal, but because of last night we were deducted a point.
