We arrived slightly early at 11:30 and were the only cruise liner at the terminal. Rob, Linda, Barbara and I took the shuttle to the Bur Juman Centre and then the Metro to Dubai Mall to buy tickets to go the viewing platform of the Burj Khalifa. Unfortunately all the available slots for both today and tomorrow were sold out, and we weren't prepared to pay £80 each for immediate access tickets.

After that disappointment, we stayed in the mall for about an hour, where I replaced my camera with the equivalent model and paid less than £80 for a camera that cost me about £159 (I think) in Hong Kong! Then it was back to the ship for a quick shower and change.

After we had changed, Linda decided to stay on board as her knee was hurting, so the three of us went back into town to the Bur Jurman shopping centre where we had an Italian meal.

Apparently, divers are working on the propeller, let's hope they fix the problem, and we will be able to leave tomorrow on time at 23:30.
