Sea conditions: rough. Wind force: 7. Outside air temp: 12.
Now we're in Californian waters, the launderettes are closed until we leave them again. Apparently one of the world's biggest polluters doesn't want our waste water contaminating their oceans.
The girl running the Battle of the Sexes as good as admitted that she had made the questions harder for the men than the women in the final round. The women did pull a lot of points back, but the final result was a draw!
I bought a DVD of the Panama Canal transit, but my laptop won't play it. It did play on the ships DVD player, so I'll have to wait until I get home to see it. It was too windy to play deck quoits so I sat in Andersons with my puzzle book. I even did some, in between dozes!
We've been delivered our pre-printed landing cards for the US. We all have to attend immigration and my time is between 7.15 and 7.45am, thank God the clocks go back another hour. I have a very long shopping list.
Won the Masquerade Challenge, so another bottle of wine for the stash. Lost the Syndicate Quiz. Just discovered that we cross the International Date Line on my birthday, so it's going to be the 'day that never was'. Clocks back another hour tonight. I intend to get up at 5 to see us sail under the Golden Gate Bridge.
